Anarchist Professor Will Leave Yale

The Hartford Courant reports:
Yale spokesman Tom Conroy declined to discuss the matter Wednesday, but has said the university was trying to reach an informal arrangement outside the grievance process.

[David]Graeber, 44, is an anarchist whose counterculture writings are nearly as popular as his academic work. When Yale's anthropology department told Graeber not to return next year, scholars worldwide wrote letters of support, some suggesting Yale was letting politics influence its hiring.

Anarchism is the theory that all forms of government interfere with individual rights and should be replaced by groups of people working and living together voluntarily.
If Graeber only believed in all forms of state action like Pell Grants and other goodies who knows Yale might have liked Graeber.
