NOW Promotes the Hate Wal-Mart Campaign

The National Organization of Women joins the anti-Wal-Mart campaign:
NOW activists are planning screenings in chapters throughout the country and thousands of other organizations have screenings planned for the week of Nov. 13. Most screenings are free, though some are fundraisers for the sponsoring organizations.

In 2002, NOW named Wal-Mart a "Merchant of Shame" and activists have continued a campaign to end the discrimination and abuse of women Wal-Mart workers. NOW activists will not back down until Wal-Mart improves pay, benefits and opportunities for all Wal-Mart workers.

Join activists who are gathering to watch the film (or schedule a showing of your own) and plan a holiday season full of action.
I guess well-to-do white women can afford to pay higher prices than poor women of "color".One wonders what kind of diversity exists at NOW? What's the racial make up at NOW? Are their health care benefits as good as Wal-Marts? Do they have a lot of part-timers there??
