Mass. Economic Slowdown

The Boston Globe reports on the Massachusetts economic slowdown:
The Massachusetts economy has been unable to sustain real momentum during its two-year recovery, shedding payroll jobs in each of the past three months and gaining just 400 in the past six months, according to employment statistics. While payroll employment has grown by 15,000 jobs in the last year, and 36,000 since the labor market hit bottom in early 2004, the state has 171,000 fewer jobs than at the pre-recession peak in 2001, and 20,000 fewer than when Romney took office in 2003.
