Feds hit Illinois gov's office for 4th time

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:
The fourth round of subpoenas in less than 10 days hit Gov. Blagojevich's administration Wednesday as a federal probe into hiring under the governor expanded to the state's prison system.

The governor's office confirmed that it received a subpoena seeking Department of Corrections hiring records for Blagojevich's first 34 months in office and the final nine months of former Gov. George Ryan's administration.

That delivery follows subpoenas to the Department of Children of Family Services and Illinois Department of Transportation seeking job-placement records for the same period of time.
