San Diego County Home Prices Cooling?

San Diego Union-Tribune reports things could be cooling:
The latest countywide median was $498,000, up 3.75 percent from a year ago and up $5,000 from August. Sales totaled 4,935, down 4.67 percent over the same period.

Resale houses and condominiums declined somewhat from August but were still ahead of last year's levels. Newly built houses and condo conversions rose nearly $38,000, the greatest one-month jump in more than eight years.
