Home Depot's 10 Year Battle to Build a Store Continues

The San Francisco Chronicle reports on a struggle of the "central planners":
The decadelong battle over Home Depot's desire to open a store in San Francisco raged at City Hall on Tuesday, where proponents and critics of the project squared off at a Board of Supervisors meeting.
It seems they don't like competition and jobs in San Francisco. No wonder they are losing population. Here is one of the best examples of a restraint of trade.Angie Colbert who appears to not live off a trust fund said this:
"This is about opportunity,'' Angie Colbert told the supervisors. Colbert said she is in a job-training program run by Young Community Developers, which is working with Home Depot on a jobs program. "I used to sell drugs; I used to be on the streets. This is something our community desperately needs.''
Blue city compassion doesn't really care.
