Young adults discover appeal of buying a home

The Detriot Free Press reports young people are buying houses:
In a real estate market of record-low interest rates and down payments that can be waived, it's no surprise that homeownership is on the rise. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the percentage of homeowners who are younger than 25 has jumped 69% -- from 14.9% in 1994 to 25.2% in 2004 -- as teens and people in their 20s choose to own rather than rent.
