The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors is expected to vote today on the church's application, and both sides are gearing up for a fight.Ms.Glimstad obviously feels she has a right to determine how property is used that isn't hers.That to us is pretty un-American.
"This is a neighborhood of private homes, and we want it to stay that way," said Donna Glimstad, who lives across the street from the proposed church. "I want a neighbor, not a church. ... We don't want to see a business of any kind in this neighborhood."
Church officials say the neighbors are being unreasonable. "They do not have one ounce of reason why this church cannot go in," the Rev. Joe Goodrich said.
