Homes here are opened to displaced from Katrina

The Cincinnati Inquirer has a rather inspiring story in the aftermath of Katrina:
The cooking and the eating - like everything else at Janice and Floyd Williams' three-bedroom house these days - is done in shifts.

Floyd Williams has taken in 28 of his relatives from New Orleans who lost all they owned to Hurricane Katrina.

Mattresses are stacked five high in the living room. Boxes of rice, crackers, bottled water and other non-perishable foods are neatly stacked in the garage. A donated refrigerator and freezer, also in the garage, are stocked.
Floyd Williams didn't need the government to tell him what to do.Read the whole article,it's one of the best this week.
