Detriot Police plan called union attack

Here's a messy situation in the declining city of Detriot.Cutbacks and demotions.Now legal actions by the union.

Attorney Mary Ellen Gurewitz, who represents the union, pointed out that 16 of the 18 people demoted declined to purchase $300 tickets to a re-election fund-raiser for Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick on July 20.
