Chicago Alderman Isn't Bothered By Corruption

The Chicago Sun-Times has a report on the evolving Chicago scandals. Here's something on Alderman Ed Smith :
Smith was equally critical of the executive order that Daley signed Tuesday that could result in the termination of employees who fail to report "any and all information concerning conduct which they know or should reasonably know to involve corrupt or other criminal activity."

"I wouldn't want to force anybody to rat on anybody else," Smith said.

Daley countered that city workers "have no right to remain silent when corruption is occurring or taxpayers are being ripped off."
The Chicago way.
