What does Rahm Emanuel have to do with "Quarters" Boyle?

John Kass describes how the Chicago way helped wonder Congressman Rahm Emanuel:

U.S. Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) praised Daley effusively at a City Club luncheon on Wednesday. Yet he did allow for some mild criticism, "Not for what he knew. But for what he didn't know," Emanuel said of Daley.

Unfortunately, the Emanuel puff piece I saw Wednesday evening on TV news neglected to mention something:

That Emanuel was elected over a Democratic independent with the help of City Hall goons who have since been snared in the Hired Truck scandal, including convicted Daley operative (and former city Water Department boss) Donald Tomczak and his political army.
