Special real estate deal in California

The Sacramento Bee reports on the lucky deal coming for some in California:
Worried about attracting and holding onto talented faculty and staff members in a pricey real estate market, California State University, Sacramento, leaders announced plans Thursday to build affordable housing for professors and university employees.

CSUS President Alexander Gonzalez, in a speech to hundreds of faculty and staff members returning to campus for the fall semester, said the university has purchased 25 acres near the campus for a new "university village" that could offer up to 500 housing units.
If you don't work for this public institution you are out of luck.Government at the federal, state, and local level created this problem now only a few will be helped. The few that will be helped will be subsidized by the unlucky. How about that for fairness?
