Many Cook county workers don't live here

How does government grow?By creating a coalition for more taxes and spending.Places like Boston and Chicago force their city workers to live within the city. How that's constitutional is beyond logic.Could you imagine the ACLU allowing a private company to get away with that?Anyway,in corrupt Cook County it appears not everyone is following the rule. Here's a good explaination for why big government Cook County wants its'workers to live within the county:
David Wickster, of the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Labor Council, said residency rules encourage patronage and "allow politicians to say, 'Where can you help me and why should I give you a job?'"
