How Not to Build a Nation

The NYT editorial can't stop it's total love for the U.N.
What is still badly lacking in Iraq is an effective United Nations presence. The United Nations at its best can supply the kind of international legitimacy and impartial expert advice that could help guide the disorganized Sunnis and the inexperienced government politicians toward a better, more farsighted relationship.
