Daley accuses condominium developer of con job

Here's a fairly new scandal concerning bribes for building permits in the one party town called Chicago.

Mayor Daley accused a developer of "trying to con everyone" when the company illegally obtained a permit to build condominiums in the middle of a manufacturing district, a burgeoning scandal that has implicated three high-ranking officials in the city's building and zoning departments.

Maybe if property rights existed in Chicago people wouldn't have bribe someone to do something.The Chicago way.Chicago Sun-Times
