Jury told of rift over mosque

The Chicago suburb of Palos Heights is involved in lawsuit because they wanted to zone a mosque out of existence.
Much of the testimony centered on the zoning of the property as a church, the generic term used to zone a house of worship, and whether the [muslim]foundation would need a special-use zoning permit to operate a mosque and school at the site.
I suppose there's no limit on what the government can do because property rights have been destroyed.Chicago Tribune.
