Australia has also enjoyed a housing boom without the benefit of a mortgage-interest deduction. Is it time to drop the home interest mortgage deduction?
With only 30% of taxpayers taking the deduction is it time to get rid of it?? Consider that other countries don't have it and the sky hasn't fallen.
