Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Admits in Email : Medicaid Is A Failure . ' Half of Planned Parenthood patients are low-income Americans who rely on Medicaid. That’s a big problem, because fewer than half of all U.S. doctors accept Medicaid.'

Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has sent out an urgent e-mail. The (DCCC) does admit some truth though that Medicaid is a failure :
This is a long email, but we need to get the truth out. Please read the whole thing.

You’ve heard the Republicans’ claim: "If Planned Parenthood shuts down, women will just receive health care elsewhere."

Frankly, that is a lie.

Analysts estimate that defunding Planned Parenthood would have disastrous consequences. A whopping 390,0000 women could lose access to cancer screenings and preventative care. It’s atrocious.

ADD YOUR NAME: Tell the GOP to pass a budget, fund Planned Parenthood, and STOP a government shutdown >>

The DCCC just did a fact check, and the results are clear: No, women could NOT “just get health care somewhere else” if Planned Parenthood shuts down.

FACT: There aren’t enough OB/GYNs to treat Planned Parenthood’s patients. Even with Planned Parenthood open, more than half of U.S. counties don’t have a single OB/GYN. If it closes, women would have to travel -- in some cases long distances -- to get care.

FACT: Many Planned Parenthood patients couldn’t afford care elsewhere. Half of Planned Parenthood patients are low-income Americans who rely on Medicaid. That’s a big problem, because fewer than half of all U.S. doctors accept Medicaid. So even if a Planned Parenthood alternative is nearby, many wouldn’t be able to afford the treatment.

FACT: Democrats need to get the truth out about Planned Parenthood.

Help us get 200,000 signatures! Sign on and demand Republicans drop their war on Planned Parenthood and keep the government funded >>
So, when someone's on Medicaid, just remember, according to the DCCC they really don't have medical coverage. Got that?
