What New College Graduates Make

The L.A. Times reports:
In 2004, the average income for people of all ages with college degrees in the U.S. was $51,568. Some engineers can expect to earn $50,000 or more out of college, but engineering isn't among the top 10 majors at four-year colleges. Liberal arts grads can expect to pull in closer to $30,000.
So if you are making 30K a year when you come out of college and you have a lot of debt:is going to college the greatest deal around?
