Jamie Dimon urges Washington to come together and tackle America’s national debt before the bond market forces its hand: “We need to resolve the problem.” 🇺🇸 “I wish our government would form a real committee in Congress and say, ‘We are going to resolve the problem.’ We almost had a deal with the Simpson-Bowles Commission. That deal would’ve been a home run for the United States of America. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely to be done that way. What’s likely to happen is you’re going to get the bond market involved. We’re fine with that. The government won’t be fine with it. The bond vigilantes will come back, and then we’ll be forced to do it. I’m not saying it’s going to happen, but I wouldn’t rule it out.”
