In the tranquil town of Loreto, Italy, during the 1980s, an American hermit named Tom Zimmer made a striking prediction: Donald J. Trump, then a well-known businessman, would one day lead America back to God. He followed reported apparitions, such as Our Lady of the Roses and San Damiano, and remained faithful to Catholic teachings, attending the Ordinary Form of the Mass.

Zimmer’s most enduring legacy is the Pieta Prayer Book, also known as The Little Blue Prayer Book. This compact booklet, featuring prayers like the 15 St. Bridget Prayers, the Rosary, and the Ave Maris Stella, aims to deepen Catholic devotion and has sold upwards of ten million copies (The Catholic Company). Zimmer created the book without accepting payment, reflecting his commitment to spiritual poverty. His meticulous, small handwriting filled pages with notes, a testament to his dedication to sharing God’s mercy through prayer.

The Prophecy of Donald J. Trump

In the 1980s, Zimmer shared a remarkable premonition with Father Giacomo Capoverdi, an encounter later recounted in 2017. According to Capoverdi, Zimmer believed that Donald J. Trump would play a pivotal role in America’s spiritual revival, leading the nation back to God. This prophecy was extraordinary, as Trump was not yet a political figure, known primarily as a real estate mogul and public personality. To symbolize his conviction, Zimmer donated a brick inscribed with “Donald J. Trump” to be placed in the Holy Door of the Vatican, a gesture that underscored his belief in Trump’s future significance (The Gateway Pundit).  Capoverdi’s account, shared in a video and reported by outlets like The Gateway Pundit and Roman Catholic Man (Roman Catholic Man), describes meeting Zimmer in Loreto’s basilica. Zimmer, elderly and hunched over in prayer, spoke with Capoverdi about his spiritual insights, including the Trump prophecy. The United State of America is dedicated to St. Marry, Our Lady Queen of Peace, and perhaps she provided the wisdom to Zimmerman as well as courage and conviction to Trump as she intercedes on his behalf and protects him from the darts of the enemy.

President Trump’s Easter Messages on April 20, 2025

On Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, President Donald J. Trump shared two messages on Truth Social, reflecting his and Melania’s belief in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and wishing peace and joy for all those heading to Church or at home celebrating the Resurrection.

“Melania and I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter! Whether you are heading out to Church or watching Service from home, may this day be full of Peace and Joy for all who celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. HE IS RISEN!!”

This message resonated with Christians celebrating the resurrection, aligning with themes of faith and unity. Shortly thereafter, Trump posted a second message of a Happy Easter to all Americans including his political enemies.  Trump gives them a strong, well-deserved rebuke, like a parent to a small child, but concludes by wishing them great love that can only be found in God and sincerity to admit what they are doing is wrong and take the right path for themselves and America.  A rebuke can be a blessing if taken to heart. 

“Happy Easter to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting and scheming so hard to bring Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, the Mentally Insane, and well known MS-13 Gang Members and Wife Beaters, back into our Country. Happy Easter also to the WEAK and INEFFECTIVE Judges and Law Enforcement Officials who are allowing this sinister attack on our Nation to continue, an attack so violent that it will never be forgotten! … and to the person that ran and manipulated the Auto Pen (perhaps our REAL President!), and to all of the people who CHEATED in the 2020 Presidential Election in order to get this highly destructive Moron Elected, I wish you, with great love, sincerity, and affection, a very Happy Easter!!!”

Trump’s Critics and the Call for Repentance

From this perspective, Trump’s critics are not merely political adversaries but forces intent on leading America into sin and destruction. Their actions—such as promoting open borders, undermining law enforcement, and engaging in election fraud—are viewed as attempts to corrupt the nation’s moral fabric and lead its people astray. These critics, often accused of orchestrating lies and lawfare to persecute Trump, are seen as having been defeated by his resilience and triumph over such challenges.

Trump’s rebuke, therefore, serves a dual purpose: it exposes the destructive agenda of the radical left and calls them to repentance. This parallels the biblical account of Jesus driving the money lenders from the Temple, where Jesus’ actions were not just about physical cleansing but also about spiritual purification. Similarly, Trump’s words aim to cleanse the political landscape of corrupt and sinful influences, guiding the nation back to God.  Is not Trump’s leadership divinely inspired, fulfilling Zimmer’s prophecy by confronting those who seek to undermine America’s spiritual and moral foundation?  Does not Divine intervention cause Trump to turn his head at exactly the right instance to avoid a bullet?  He believes it is so..
