J.J. Abrams Broke His Back Filming 'Star Wars'

The San Jose Mercury News reports:

Who knew the Millennium Falcon could be so dangerous?

Turns out Harrison Ford wasn't the only person taken down by a hydraulic door on the set of "Star Wars: Episode VII -- The Force Awakens."

According to E!, Director J.J. Abrams told Jon Stewart on "The Daily Show" on Thursday that he broke his back while trying to lift the door that fell and broke Ford's leg last year. The door was part of the Millennium Falcon set.

Ford's injury resulted in a production delay for the film.
