Indicted Chicago Police Commander suspended from duty 11 times, records show: As prosecutors unveil grand-jury charges, WBEZ learns more about Glenn Evans’ 28 years in the Chicago Police Department.

WBEZ reports:
Cook County prosecutors on Thursday are planning to unveil an indictment of a Chicago police commander who allegedly rammed his pistol into an arrested man’s mouth.

A grand jury last week indicted Cmdr. Glenn Evans, 52, on charges of aggravated battery and official misconduct, according to Sally Daly, a spokeswoman for State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez. WBEZ revealed the excessive-force complaint behind the charges in July.

City records, meanwhile, show that Evans has been suspended from duty at least 11 times during his 28 years in the police department.
Yet, Rahm Emanuel thinks only police officers should own handguns! Anyway, you will not be seeing this story on MSNBC today: it doesn't fit the propaganda line the Obama regime needs out of his close friends.
