Rep. John Larson (D-Conn.) said that Congress, by not taking a vote on more gun control legislation, is “complicit in the deaths and atrocities that take place,” at a Capitol Hill news conference on Tuesday. Several other Democratic congressmen stood with Larson as he spoke, as well as members of Team 26, a group of bicyclists who were embarking on their second annual Sandy Hook Ride.No word yet on whether Rep. Larson believes Congress is complicit in bad public schools because they subsidize them.
“The United States Congress is complicit, the United States Congress shares the responsibility, the United States Congress by not, even in the House of Representatives, taking a vote, is complicit in the deaths and the atrocities that take place because of the lack of action, on the part of the United States Congress,” Larson said.
