Pew Poll: Republicans Have 5 Point Lead in Party Identification

The National Journal reports on Pew's stunning new poll showing Mitt Romney in the lead:
more Republicans are making it through the likely-voter screen, giving the GOP a 5-point advantage on party identification, a significant change from last month, when Democrats held a 10-point advantage. Republicans now make up 36 percent of likely voters, up from 29 percent last month. Democratic identification among likely voters declined from 39 percent last month, to 31 percent now.
Just a reminder, to people who think Barack Obama will get a 2008 style turnout: it's probably not going to happen.
