New York City Council Hikes Staffer's Salaries by 8%

The New York Post reports:

The City Council followed in lock-step with Mayor Bloomberg yesterday, announcing an 8 percent raise for staff members that will cost the city about $3.9 million.

Your tax increase is their generous salary increase. Some people have a vested interest in higher taxes.
