Cook County Unemployment Jumps a Full Percent in One Month

Chicago Public Radio reports:
New figures show unemployment rates across Illinois jumped last month.

Cook County's unemployment rate rose to 7.6 percent in June - almost a full percentage point jump in just one month. Each of the collar counties also saw a rise, and the trend continues across the state.
No word yet from the Obama campaign on this one.Anyway, the new Cook County sales tax increase couldn't be timed worse.
