Unschooled Students Learn When They Want : School's out — forever

Crain's Chicago Business reports:

In 2012, 1.8 million U.S. children were home-schooled, up from 1.5 million in 2007 (as a subset of home schooling, unschooling is included in these numbers and not tracked separately). That's more than double the count in 1999, when the National Center for Education Statistics started tracking home-schoolers and found 850,000 of them.
