Ear damage not confined to rockers

The Calgary Herald reports:
It's no secret, nor much of a surprise, that rock musicians suffer high levels of hearing damage.

The Who's Pete Townshend is famously deaf in one ear and endures head-stabbing tinnitus in the other from decades of playing in "the world's loudest rock band."

But what's only becoming known is the growing level of hearing damage among musicians of every type, including tuxedo-clad symphony players, high school band members and jazz musicians.
An article well worth your time.
