2 More Chicago Police Officers Go on to Be Convicted Felons

The AP reports:
Two former Chicago police officers initially charged in a 2011 sexual assault case now face two years of probation after pleading guilty to official misconduct in a deal with prosecutors.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports Paul Clavijo and Juan Vasquez, both 41, pleaded guilty to a single felony count of official misconduct involving battery as part of a Jan. 22 deal.
No word yet from the "only police should own handguns crowd" on this story. The University of Illinois-Chicago will have to update their tally on Chicago police corruption convictions.
