Cost of Seat at Obama Inauguration $50,000

Crains' Chicago Business reports:
The Presidential Inauguration Committee, headed by Chicago business execs Penny Pritzker and John Rogers, has published a couple of lists of major donors to the January festivities.

The committee's web site has one list that outlines contributions from $200 to $50,000 to the swearing-in fund. The other list includes the so-called bundlers of contributions. The site is easy to use and allows you to see who's who and what they gave.

Interesting names pop up like media mogul Fred Eychaner, actresses Halle Barry and Sharon Stone and, interesting Blair Hull, the Matlock Capital exec who once ran for president-elect Obama's U.S. Senate seat. Donations are capped at $50,000 and corporations aren't allowed to give.
No word yet from Rod Blagojevich on this one.
