Rod Blagojevich Gets Shouts of Approval in Church for Free Rides For Seniors

The AP reports on Governor Rod Blagojevich's trip to church to encourage theft through majority voting. Also, known as free rides for seniors on public transportation:
Blagojevich, frequently interrupted by applause and shouts of approval on Sunday, spoke in biblical terms about hardships faced by many seniors, pinning part of the blame on Daley.

"Mayor Daley just raised your property taxes ... and taxes on your bottled water," he said. "If you're a senior citizen in Chicago, there are some dark clouds all over...."

He added that if his proposal is approved, "those dark clouds are going to roll away, the sun is going to shine. ... and everything is going to be fine."

Blagojevich has said he proposed allowing people 65 and older to ride trains and buses free as a way to soften the sales tax increase that's at the core of the mass-transit bailout.

His audience Sunday appeared overwhelmingly enthusiastic.

There were rousing cheers when Blagojevich asked congregants, "How many of you agree with me that the right thing to do is to give your grandma a free ride on a bus? ... Are you with me or am I by myself?"
Did you really think modern day Democrats were for separation of church and state? Chuck Goudie has more on the hardly downtrodden seniors eligible for free rides off the taxpayers.
